Did anyone get the 2nd recruiter call from ExpressJet?

Is the 2nd call to ask what our qualifications are, or is it a phone -technical interview?

Info for others that want to apply:

The questions as previously posted were right on, I mean even down to the correct order (Huge thanks to everyone who previously posted on this subject):

- Hard landing remark by a passenger-what would you say/do?
- Thunderstorm forecast at you destination, would you takeoff?
- How would you make the trip more enjoyable for passengers?
- Ever been late to work?
- Is it ok if upgrades are 3+ years after you start?
- They had you read the PA announcement printout about de-icing (you print it out when you are filling out your application online).

I was called on New Years day, just before 9am in the morning (Pacific), so they will call at weird times!

Ok, I'll try:

Hard landing remark: Just say, "It wasn't my fault, or the Capt's fault, it was the asphault."

Thunderstorm forcast: well, your dispatcher would have to give you a brief and you both would discuss if the storm was moving fast and would still be around when you would arrive. You would just have to discuss it with the dispatcher.

To make the trip more enjoyable: Try to be personable and say hi to everyone, and tell them that you really appreciate their business. Show them that you care.

Ever been late to work? No, but if I thought there could be a problem, I would call ahead and advise them. (traffic problems etc.)

Is it ok if upgrades are 3+ years? YES. I want to work for YOUR company---and that really is my goal. An upgrade will be icing on the cake eventually.

Deicing PA----tell it to them straight--you are doing it for their safety, and there might be a slight smell afterwards which is normal...

Good luck and I have many friends there at Expressjet and they love it. I think growth there will continue.

Bye Bye--General Lee:rolleyes:

Is there anybody else out there who was told to call them, it seems like everybody else was called. The internet told me to call them, and I got all the same questions.

Tell them
"the airplane just lands hard from the left seat"
(point to captain)

For the De-ice:
"That smell is an alcohol based fluid that probably won't cause cancer but we're not totally sure about that. It's for your safety and sorry about the delay causing you to miss you connections."

For the late to work:
"Sure I've been late, but only when I'm drunk, and that's not often, however my girlfriend is two weeks late, and I don't know what I'm going to tell my boyfriend."

Good luck, my buddies say ExpressJet is a blast except for all of the jerk captains in Houston

The recruiter I spoke to on the first call told me I should expect a call from a senior recruiter within 2 weeks from that time, for a further interview. She also said if I hadnt heard by then, to call them. It has been 2 weeks today. Did anyone else get a second call yet? Has anyone called them back?
Thanks.
