Anyone have any info on interviews from express-one? Its a new start up cargo/135 operation starting outside Orlando.

Used to be Express One International out of Dallas, TX, now out of Sanford, FL (north of MCO about 15 miles up I-4). The used to be Part 121 Supplemental flying 727's ad-hoc and 727's for the US Postal Service until May/July 2001 when FedEx took over the postal routes, then 9/11 did them in.

Orchard Capital sold the operating certificate to a group in Sanford, but they ddn't act fast enough to put a 727 back on certificate and they lost the 727 side of the house. Evidently they've had trouble getting it back on track, as every 6 months or so they put out that they're looking for pilots, then it goes silent again.

I don't think much of any of the original management team is there anymore, and none of the pilots have recall rights from their permanent furlough, as Teamsters were on property negotiating but never got a contract in place.

Good luck...
