Havent heard anything lately. Somebody did mention however that they will be mailing out interview invitations to former employees shortly.

Don't really know who they will be flying for. I'm curious how they will even find customers in this market. I remember reading something on one of the job boards that Boston Maine Airlines is moving to Sanford, Fl. (where EOI is now) They were looking for 727 simulator instructors. Kinda makes you wonder if the new Express One (2) is planning something with them. Who knows.

RE boston pain airways

I recently resigned from bma (mar 16) and they are collapsing. They have unpaid bills at most or all airports they use and are having serious problems getting aircraft parts. The other day every plane in their fleet was down. They also are and will continue to suffer from a lack of crews. As of this month all pilots were put on reserve and told to call in every night to get their next days assignment.

Yeah really...isn't that the norm??

EO II

Express One should be starting mid to late summer. Still working on certification. They are not affiliated with BMA. I don't know who they will contract with. They have already hired the first group of pilots, but not started classes. Not sure if PFE's have been hired yet.

Captains $70/hr
FO/PFE $45/hr

schedules are not determined

any new news?

Just wondering if they actually interviewed ex-express one employees or hired off the street. I realize I was a ways down the seniority list, but thought maybe they would at least send a "thanks for your interest..." letter after I submitted my resume.

If it makes you feel any better...I didn't get a thank you either. In fact, I don't know any ex EOI guys that got one. Oh, well.
