How many are on furlough? Any idea on how many would come back? Anyone know of any deals pending? I heard a rumor that Eagle Air Frieght may have thier fingers in this deal.

Lordy, Lordy

If Eagle Air Freight has it's fingers in this one, it is best to run, run and keep running! They were involved in bringing us down before and who knows what they could do if given the chance.

Though realistically, what brought us down was the "superior management and strategic business planning" exercised by those in command. Hopefully, any new company will have people who want to make money in the business, not just have pretty buildings.

I too would love the chance to fly the Triassic Jet again but am sure I never will. Am currently in training at Comair and don't think it would be a wise move to come back to that company just for the opportunity to fly a big jet.

Best of luck to those who go back and to the company.

I would imagine that they have more records of you and your spot in the seniority list than the records you took to safeguard your future.

I am not too sure how important it was to take the records after all. I have talked to some people about having the records in your posession as an aid to those people who are doing the checks on you. Their take was that as soon as the records left Express ONE property, they became tainted and were worthless to them. On the other hand, when I was having my background check done by Comair, they couldn't get ahold of anyone at Carnival (I have a great record for picking winners) - I sent them a copy of my records that I had kept. This satisfied them. Who knows what other companies will accept.

I don't know for certain but 1/2 of the seniority list going back seems like a pretty high number. Most of the people I have kept in touch with seem to have jobs. I know I wouldn't go back now - but, 2 months ago, I would have gone back until my class date.

This could be the start of something big, or not. Good luck either way.
