Anyone have any current information about EOI? I read a letter last week sent from the new management talking about preferential hiring of former EOI employees. Anyone know anything?

Does anyone have any other information on the "new" Express One? Such as....

Is anyone from the original company involved in the new management?

Are they hiring everyone to the FE position, or are they hiring to the Captain and FO seats as well?

Will they have the same pay scale as before?

Any info would be appreciated.

EO managment letter

Did anyone else get the letter that Bill is talking about?

I'm pretty sure that everyone that still has the same mailing address that they had when EOI went out of business got the letter.

I just got the call this morning! We ARE going back to Europe but it's not BRU anymore...it's Amsterdam. Too bad we aren't flying the 72 this time around-oh well, I'll enjoy the 777F just as much I guess. See ya'll on line!

It is supposed to be pretty sweet this time. 3 Days on 11 off. The are going to travel us during day 1 and 3. I can't wait.

And I hear that if you were FO qualified before, they will bring you on as a captain to make up for past wrongs.

But in consideration of the possible low time and inexperienced captains that could end up in the right seat, all aircraft will be equipped with training wheels for the wingtips to prevent tip strikes like Durango. Now as far as how to keep those mains from coming off - I think we are ok, that only seems to happen with very high timers.

And I hear Nappy No Neck is comming back as an engineer this time...Oh, wait. The 777F doesn't have an engineer. I guess he won't be coming back.

Crew meals will be catered by Joe's Crab Shack.

And if you get "rehired" by Express One Two, you'll receive a cool "Furloughed once is not enough!" t-shirt.

I also hear they're going to buy the city of Alexandria, LA and turn it into an international cargo hub and alien docking station.
