What's going on at Express.Net? Is the company still arround?
That depends upon your seniority number. Those of us (the numberical majority of the list) that have an enforced vacation don't have much (or any) faith in the possibility of a callback.

The company really turned on employees. I couldn't imagine how such a great place to work overall could have handled this situation any worse. The ONLY correspondence we have received from the company is a furlough letter. Nothing before, nothing after. Hopefully they will get work and call some/all (whoever wants to) back, my personal feeling is the company is up for sale and has no intention of trying to get more contracts.

Ah yes, the sweet milky Emery tit has finally dried up, much to the dismay of the boys on 36th street and up in Dirt city. The writing was on the wall for a year or more, why did you wait till the end to be the guy who turned off the lights?

...because nobody REALLY thought that ENA wouldn't have other work lined up. Tiredpilot has it right, it was a good place to work and it seemed impossible that they'd not have something else ready when the Emery flying disappeared. "Waiting til the end" wasn't really part of the program, it went from "everything's fine" to "time for you to leave" in the space of a single month.

Such a shame. Things were generally too good over there for it to last forever, I guess.
