I'm trying to apply for an internship with Continental Express/ ExpressJet for this upcoming spring, but I have no idea of where to mail my resume and other required documents to or who to address my cover letter to. I received an e-mail of what I need to send the company (documents, copies, etc.) and what positions they have for interns and even the date by which my application package must be sent in by but there isn't any way to contact the company. I can't respond to the e-mail because it was sent by one of my professors and he won't respond to my e-mails of how to contact the company and I was wondering if anyone knows of who I can send my application to and what address to send it to. Thanks guys.

I know it's been a few days but thank you sooo much Captain X for the mailing address and the phone number. I've been looking everywhere for the information and this website was my last resort.

I would think that you should be going through your professors and your school when corresponding with XJT. I'm not sure if they are going to want to be bothered over at the training center. I would highly recomend that you keep trying to contact XJT through your school and let them do the talking for you. When my school did various internships with airlines we were expressly forbidden from directly making contact with any of the airlines that we were trying to get internships with unless it went through the school and the Aviation Department, or the airline called us themselves. I wouldn't want to hurt your chances of getting an internship with us because you didn't follow proper procedure.

I didn't even know that XJT had an internship. I did have a friend that interned with CAL this summer; she's definately become a Continental convert!

Best of luck to you in working it out with Expressjet; I had to all but pull teeth with one of my professors to get a contact at Comair. I finally sent an email to the generic HR addy there, then lo and behold, one week later we had a posting about an internship opportunity. Not saying what I did definately set things in motion, but I don't THINK they hurt me. That being said, I didn't get the internship for this past spring. Good experience though!
