OK, a few of you had interviews today. What can we expect when we get there next week.
Thank's in advance for the info

...oh well be ready to answer questions like what's your favorite coffee flavor?...who do you like best Ginger or Mary Ann?... name the Coors Light Twins and Identify each...if rain is clear why is snow white?

If you get past that, it's on to..... if you were a tree what type of bark would you have and how can you relate this to CRM.

Finally it's "adults only" swim and should you enter or not!

Good Luck! Remember I'm pulling for ya'..we're all in this together!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

:D :p

So, be prepared for anything huh? Like no interview at all, just a job offer... or maybe They announce that newhires now make more than 10 year capts... or maybe even they are hiring captains directly into their new widebodys. Man all good ideas, i just don't see it happening... man and i really felt like they would do all of that for us all.;)

Also, the most enjoyable interview ever...hmmmm...on a scale of enjoyment from 1 to 10 what was it, and why? (<----maybe i can get him to answer with that one, he he he, it's just too bad i have to put it in writing here for him to read after the question...dang it)

Honestly now, just answer by number for the following questions and it will be like you never told us how the interview was....OK....

Any technical questions about a/c?
1. yes
2. no

HR interview or technical pilot stuff interview?
1. HR
2. Technical pilot stuff

How about a free case of beer or two for your answers?
1. yes
2. no

Do they push you to the edge of sanity to test you?
1. yes
2. no

How about approach plate questions?
1. yes
2. no

A written test?
1. yes
2. no

Thats good for a start... now if anyone else has any questions make them simple so as not to make him break his promise of secrecy intentionally. (did anyone else notice the bribe question i threw in to get him to let down his guard?... he he he...I'm trying for ya guys)

Bummer...oh well, I guess I'll just do what I've been doing, studying jepp, hr, situational, far/aim and atp written.
hope you guys did well on the 5th and and everyone before me on the 9th,10th and 11th.

box,

what tha? must have gouge....need gouge...cant go in cold turkey on the 10th. i know you did, but anything would be nice. lots of technical questions? hr questions? did they give you results the day of? have you ever seen a grown man naked? was there a written test?

Congrats Boxjockey, I am on deck for Monday so I will heed your advice. Look forward to meeting you hopefully

regards

Box:

If anything, we are "green with envy". Great Job! Hope to see you there soon!

No, If I can only get the call.....

Today is the 6th, Box says of his interview on the 5th "no results the day of.... I got the job..." Mmmmm, I'm intrigued. Maybe somebody who gets a job offer next week can post the gouge under a false profile for the betterment of the common man. More specifically, THIS common man before my interview on Wednesday.

yeah i thought of that... how about signing up for a random new user name here and then posting the gouge under that new identity? You could even feel like a secret agent or something:) And see, boxjockey, or whoever wishes to speak up, will still maintain his/her promise of secrecy.

It really does not bother me either way however... I am confident in my abilities and i can only do my best when i go in there...If i get the job great, if not, well i guess i will still go on living.

But i still am having fun trying to egg you on to share some info.

Hmm....

Probably be easier for people to be anonymous when there's more than just 4 people that have interviewed. I'd say probably at least 20 by Monday, so by then, SOMEONE should have something to post.

man,
How is it that everyone else is so chill.

I'm on the 10th and i already feel like i need to breathe into a paper bag or take a zanex or something!

I'm not trying to bash anyone... I was just messin' with you guys. I respect that you are held to secrecy for now...at least until next week that is. It would be too easy for them to know who leaked...they could just deny the first four who interviewed a job.

So everyone chill, we are just f'in with ya.

One thing however, can you guys at least tell us if we need to bring things like our 10 year history of work, school and residence? Or how about school transcripts or driving records or things like that?

You have nothing to worry about. I know some of the people who are doing the interviewing, they are some very cool folks. They certainly arent there to bust balls. Just relax and remember....we need you here, they wouldnt have spent the money to send you to Tx and whatnot if they didnt WANT to hire you. You are there to reconfirm their assumption that you would make a good employee, not to convince them to hire you.
Before you go to the interview, remind yourself of that fact:
They WANT to hire you!
