Exploding Turkey

Anyone know it these boys got out o.k.(hopefully so), and what caused this turkey to explode?

Was this the same incident they showed on that show on the discovery channel a few years ago? It looks similar, but I don't remember that big of an explosion - just a flame coming out of the tailpipe before the guys punched out.

Oh man...

...I hope those guys got out okay. If they were going the speed a Bone does when it develops that atmospheric cone, it's a high probability they developed some sort of flailing injury at least...

That would not be fun in any sense of the word...the Bone had arm restraint nets and an internal reel for the shoulders and legs to draw them in for the punch out. I forgot what the ACES II seat was rated to...

I worked with an eagle driver that GLOC'ed himself and punched out going Mach 1+. He got some amazing flail injuries but is back flying now. He's got scars on scars.
