hi guys,

i was just wondering if anyone has some info on execstar aviation out of fort lauderdale executive airport...i was recently offered an interview and am trying to decide if i should explore this option any further.

thanks in advance.

Don't do it

Execstart is a pilot mill. They will work the crap outta you then when you get burned out, kick you to the curb.

ExecStar comes into our airport in a Baron. Apparantly the guy makes almost $40K, but he's got a long day...almost 14 hour duty days. Hope this info helps.

you must be talking about 525AF - that guy is insane. From what I recall he (the guy who's been flying it) quit a week or two ago, they've been doing the rounds calling up flight schools in the area.

At ORL (where the baron is based if indeed it is 525AF) they have a 206/207 (can't tell the difference) that flies in/out of here as well.

I second the above statement, my old instructor had an interview there and said screw it after he took a few rides with them.

Not the creame of the crop IMO - if you can shoot for higher like Airnet.
