Hi:

I interviewed at Evergreen on April 12th. About a week later I got a letter telling me I was in the hiring pool. Can anyone tell me how long one must typically wait for a class date? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Had our CP just leave to go there and one of our Lear Captains. CP waited a couple of months for a class and the Lear pilot only waited a couple of weeks. They are both in training right now and loving it. I think the sims are a little backed up right now so it might be a little wait? Anyway, Congrats, I keep hearing good things and might have to put in a resume myself.

Pool Letter

I got a pool letter a week after interviewing. The day after I received the letter, I got a call from a company in Seattle who was conducting the background checks requesting some more information .
Another week passed by, and then I received a phone call from the CP inviting me join the company.
Honestly, I was quite surprised to get an invite.
This was in Sept. 2005. I have been here since and I am enjoying it.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Are the minimums still 4000 TT? I am still a little short, and would love to fly the 747, always been a dream of mine.

Thanks,

Art V.

The reason there is a pool is because we are WAYYYY backed up with people waiting for the sim. The wait shouldn't be too long.

If you are swimming, be prepared to get you when the lifeguard blows the whistle.

The pool letter is standard for EZ. I was given the OK and a class date straight out of the interview. Got the pool letter 2 days later and then the class date letter 2 days after that.

If you got the pool letter it shouldn't be too long before the class letter arrives. Talk of classes every other month for this year as classic pilots go to train on the LCF and the backlog of sim training is basically over.
