* ATPL

* 4000 Hours TT

* 1000 Hours Turbine or Jet (PIC or SIC)

* 1000 Hours Multi-engine PIC (can be piston)

* FAA 1st Class Medical
 
I keep hearing that the schedules are bad but how about some examples. What is the typical monthly schedule for a lineholder and reserve? How long should one expect to be on reserve? How long is the upgrade? Days off? Any type of bonus? How much vacation do you get? Etc...

I can't speak for Evergreen, though I do work at another similar outfit. Expect to be gone about 18 days a month, sitting at home on reserve is almost unheard of. The workdays for us are either a solid stretch or split into two periods. Pay and upgrade is listed at airlinepilotcentral.com. It can be a rough life especially with a family at home. Typically lines all run about the same number of days so seniority will not mean less work days, but it can mean more hours or better layovers.
