Zoners,

Are you guys operating the Dreamlifter yet? If not, when do you anticipate taking over the contract from Boeing? Also, have you guys been trained up on the 747-400?

Thanks!

soon, not sure of the exact date though. Boeing is still working bugs out with the FAA on the wing anf fuselage fixtures.

They take delivery of the first one by the end of the month. They have 12 capt's and 11 fo's trained, as of today. More to come soon. The 2nd LCF comes in July. 3rd by the end of '07. 2 more in '08. Hope that helps.

Congrats on the contract. You guys will love flying the -400 after all that time in the -200's. Looks like there will be some BIG TIME hiring at Evergreen to crew all those new airplanes!

nope, because as the -400's come along next year, the -100's are going to be turned into beer cans, just as soon as we take off EVERY usable part off of them.

The LCF Isn't really going to fly enough in the first few years to really hire a bunch pf people.

We are running classes every month it seems though.
