I was watching ESPN’s College Gameday this morning Sat OCT 14 @ 1000 EST and they are at Auburn for the Auburn vs Florida game. Chris Fowler States the obvious on ASA, Delta Connection and Atlanta.

Chris Fowler says that there is nothing more dreaded by people living in the Southeast US than Atlanta, Delta Connection and the statement “we apologize for your late arrival.”

I hear they're coming out with a new FOM revision that will include that statement as a standard PA when arriving into the ramp area.

Late Arrivals/Connecting Flight:
The following briefing will be made upon enterning the ramp area upon arrival.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, once again we apologize for the late arrival. It will be a few more minutes as our gate is currently occupied. We appreciate your patience and welcome to [enter city name here]."

Well, at least they're going to make it official.

I agree with him. ASA sucks, since coming to work here several years ago it has only gotten worse. Right along with our management. They have not fixed the problem they have just f u c k e d it up that much more. I am tired of apologizing to the people. I just tell them like it is. "Sorry for the delays this is common and something that will hopefully get fixed someday."

:laugh:H3LL, I give them JA and BL's email address over the PA! Tell someone that CARES......NOT!!! I stopped apologizing a loooooooooong time ago!

Why apologize? It's not my fault, and to be perfectly honest, I'm not really all that sorry.

-Not paid enough to give a crap

Way to go ASA, I am so proud to be here!

Way to go ASA. This is with the pilots not even making it worse.

Word from the G.O. is that bad publicity is better than no publicity- didn't you get the memo regarding our new ASA marketing campagne???
