I was wondering if anybody has taken any classes/earned degrees via Embry-Riddle's online program. I'm looking into college options while still working full-time, anybody else in the same boat? Thanks for your input!

I've taken a few of their Corporate Aviation Management Classes and I start my first class towards finishing my degree this month. It's been a positive experience so. The materials are good and the online stuff is easy to navigate.
The only drawback is cost. I looked into the Thomas Edison progam too, but decided to go with Riddle even though tuition is more. One reason was the fact that Edison charge you for your portfolio evaluation. For some reason that cheapened the whole institution for me so I went with the "name brand" (though I understand that Edison is a perfectly good school). With an ATP, CFI, and air carrier experience ERAU gave me 36 hours credit plus credit for transfer classes.

i'm in the same boat. full-time cfi with no degree. i've been looking into riddle for about 8 months now. just toying with it actually. i'm going to call today and try to get some paperwork.

another instructor at my school is doing it now. just finished his first semester. said it was good. he couldn't finish one class by the 6th, so the professor gave him until the 10th. they seem flexible.

also, he is a MEII with his ATP. he said they gave him somewhere around 30+ credit hours. not bad. definitely look into it.

i was also looking at UVSC, but i'm just going with the name brand also. good luck.

Thanks for the replies... Yeah they do give a bunch of credits for cetificates/ratings/hours, seems like it maxes out at 36. That is definitely a selling point.
