Heys guys, I was wondering if anyone knew of any jobs for pilots with low time in ATL, preferrably near PDK (BHM is cool too). I figured there'd be some traffic watch, banner tow, pipeline patrol stuff, maybe even some SIC positions since there are a lot of corporate aircraft around the area. It's hard to find out what companies have aircraft and what they fly. I hear NBAA publishes a list that could be useful, I'll have to look into that. I haven't been too lucky in locating anything solid so far though. It seems as though you need relatively high time to do pipeline patrol from what I have found. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. I've basically exhausted the flight schools already, none seem to be currently in the hiring mode. Thanks in advance, feel free to PM me if you'd like! BTW, anyone planning on going to the Wings Weekend 2003 in May?

Try Elite Flight Center. I believe they will have a CFI opening. 770.234.0750 or 205.841.8802.

They are currently accepting resumes but unfortunately are not hiring right now. There's got to be some company near there that wants a hard working pilot, I just gotta find it. Thanks though.

Slye,

At FTY there is a club called the Yellow Jacket Flying Club, part of Georgia Tech. They own and operate 5 planes 3 172s and 2 152s. We are always looking for new instructors. My first instructor built up his time in the club and in about a year got a job flying DC-3s. Instructors here can get many students and get paid $20/hr for private instruction and $22/hr for advanced. All the contact info is at www.yjfc.org

Hope this Helps

Theres a company called Direct Flight which does traffic in a 172. I dont have any contact info but they fly outta Epps early morning. Go down and see what you can find out. Oh yeah you need 500 TT...Good Luck

Try VPC in Cartersville if you're a good 'ole boy. If you start on the ramp, you could work up to Lear Co-pilot in no time at all with about 500 hours. Believe me, it's been done many tmes before. Phoenix Air is kinda a neat organization--good money, cool military missions, a wide variety of civie stuff. Plus, you'll get A LOT of international experience. Downside: gone a lot, no seniority and you're under the thumbs of the owner and DO.

PS No pilot pushing there!!! HA, HA, HA!!!
