Question:

Emirates posts a "A minimum of 2000 hours multi-crew, multi-engined jet aircraft experience" for "direct entry first officer".

Does anyone know if they interpret turboprop time as "jet", i.e. turbine? Or does the compressor section strictly have to turn a fan and not a prop.

Thanks for any info.
