Does anyone know of any Guard/Reserve types that fly for Emirates and are able to stay current back home?

Not even remotely possible. Emirates is not a commuting job nor will they honor any Guard/Reserve commitments. You might try for a Cathay Freighter position, at least then you'll be based in the States.
