Hello All-

I am new to this board. I'm also happy to say that I've learned more about my future flying career here in a few hours than I have from a few months of looking other places.

Question: I am told that someone that rents from my (let's say former) flight school had to make an emergency landing in a parking lot in Portsmouth VA. How would I go about verifying this information short of going to the school and asking? Is there an NTSB or FAA site I might go to to find this information?

Go check out the parking lot.

OK, maybe a search of the local news station websites. I'm sure it is big news on a local level.

LOL. I actually thought about going to check out lots in Portsmouth. If it weren't a 30 minute drive from home and work I would have. As for the news here, my part of VA (Virginia Beach/Norfolk) is a bit military in nature. It would take that Piper Warrior landing on an aircraft carrier to even get a slight reaction from these stations.

WOW

Thanks dmspilot00

The search took me about 15 seconds. (long enough for me to notice the Piper option) Thanks again.
