Hi Guys, I had no intention of speading rumour, and I apologize if it appeared this way. From my angle, and perspective, and having the jet surrounded by ARFF, it really looked to me like what had happened is that they landed north, and attempted a right-hand high speed off the runway. We speculated the aircraft weathervaned and went off the taxiway at the junction of the high speed and the rwy. The airplane was obviously intact with no damage.

I think what happened was the angle at which we passed on golf, and the relative position of the high-speed between us (on Golf) and the jet made it look like a part of it was off the concrete.

Good job landing on a really nasty day - crosswinds were evil for sure. My apologies again.

Glad to hear everything worked out. It's good to hear that there wasn't an accident. That's all we need is another accident to let the media have a hay day with. Funny, no news was made with this one. I bet had he scratched even just a little bit of paint it would have been on CNN.

Yes, only hydraulic operated items are the flaps, gear, brakes, and spoilers. I wonder if he was able to get any flaps down. I know there is a tube in the hyd. resivoir that holds about a half gal of fluid for that particular sitation.
