Embraer Announces Two New Jets

I waited as long as I could stand.

Clearly people do not consider Embraer a force to be reckoned with. That's too bad as they are an innovative company that stives for continuous improvement. I personally believe they have the potential to become an industry giant. Already #3 manufacturer in the world and just getting started.

I love this MLJ. Gonna' be one hell of an airplane if they build it.

I think with all companies there are various levels of announcements. "Concept," "Intent to Build," and "Product Launch." Maybe this is stage two. I think there was something about this last fall but it was much more vague.

Well all I can say is they are building this as I am on the design team. We are also the launch customer for this and it is expected on-line by 3rd quarter of 2011. This is quite a nice jet. We also own some 100's and 300's (phenom)
