I had an MD11 f/o once argue with me that the MD11 was fly by wire.

I had to open up the hell hole and show him the cables.....

And this FO had gone through the MD11 ground school successfully (he must have if she/he is MD11 FO)?

Not to question your integrity, but it's hard to believe that MD11 FO would even argue with anyone about that.
