Was in Allentown the other day and saw an EMB-170 "Micro-Bus" in USAirways colors. Is that Mid Atlantic? Radio call sign was "USAir...." Same same?

Yes it is MidAtlantic or MidTitanic as some like to say. I sure sure hope thats not the case. The call sign is US Air as Midatlantic is under the mainline certificate. The FAA does not recognize MidAtlantic. Its just a "marketing name" among other things (no comments from the peanut gallery here) for management to... well I'll just stop there.

Funny thing is that among other destinations out of ABE we are useing the 170 to do ABE-PHL. A 37 mile trip. On the Dash it was blocked for 28 minutes and the 170 its blocked for 38. However like the Dash it was always full at 37 and on the 170 three of the four times I've seen it do either PHL-ABE or ABE-PHL the 170 had over 60 pax on board.
