I heard that Delta went to ASA union and asked them about a pay rate for the EMB-135. That seems odd, I thought they already had someone who flew the 135. Also heard CHQ is opening a DFW base. Wonder how long the CHQ thing will last in DFW?

What do you mean, "How long will it last?" We've got thirty more airplanes coming and the rumor is they will all go to DFW. I also heard daily departures in the 100/200/300+ range for CHQ out of DFW long-term... (Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just spouting what I hear.)

Yes, we fly EMB-135s for DAL. Adding a second operator makes sense. That way DAL can whipsaw CHQ with ASA for the 135s... Round and round it goes. DAL doesn't have fifteen different regional carriers for nothing..... Pretty soon we'll all be making five bucks an hour to fly 90-seat RJs....
