when you email resumes, do you include a cover letter? How about faxing and snail mail? i figure that with the amount of resumes hr people get each day, it wouldn't be necessary. thanks in advance.

No, a waste of time. Just have a simple easy to read 1 page resume.

Attachments are excellent ways to smuggle viruses and worms. Some folks refuse to open them.
