Last I heard, they were looking for Lear FOs, must be typed or buy your own rating...second hand info...

not good

Anyone have any thoughts on these guys?

Well I know by experience that this place sucks. The CP is a pretty cool guy, the pilots are pretty cool. But the owner sux. He's nice at first but then he'll try to give you crap when you dont take flights in your rest period. It's a good place for a young guy with no women commitments. If you like being on the road for 3 weeks straight, the getting 1 maybe 2 days off, then this is the place for you. It is completely a stepping stone. If you dont have a type then you have to buy your own type or sing a 2 year training contract. Pay isnt good, 28k. Well I think 28k is good for a guy that's single and like I said, likes to be on the road all the time. Benefits are ok. I personally with a wife can work at a place like that. I did some work for them (contract) and I was away for 3 weeks straight and then on my "day off" I was getting called to go fly. So I said screw this and left.
In simple terms,
Good place for a single guy, that is desperate flight time, and hates being home.
Horrible place for a married guy.

Well they've been having a hard timen finding people b/c their pay sux so much, and the QOL is real SH!T. If you interview with the CP he'll tell you upfront you will be gone ALOT! the CP wants to hire more people but the owner is to cheap to hire more i guess. Because they are always short.

I notice a lot of turnover there. One of the old CPs is a friend of mine.

cool

Yeah, the only guys there right now are guys that are single desperate for Jet time (FOs) and Older, overqualified married guys that cant find other jobs around the area (Capts).....that place is on the edge of becoming the next Pinnacle Air services. Where did your friend go after Elite?

One is drag racing (for real) one is at Home Depot, he didn't feel like paying for his own recurrent...

Kewl, when you say home depot...you mean flying for Home Depot? or working at the tools section? Do you know of any decent 135 or corporate companies that have operate lears which are hiring?
I'm still trying to find a Lear gig

I bet he did NOT mean flying for Home Depot. A kid I went to flight school with had all his rating, MEI-ATP and had a Caravan job but quit aviation all together because he would mak twice as much working at Home Depot.

Home Depot sounds good to me. I like the orange apron uniform.. Last I checked they only pay about $8.00/hr. if you don't have any construction/contractor licences. I was thinking about it. I'd like to get checked out to run the fork-lift single pilot. : )
