I am looking for a good book that will explain the building blocks of electrical systems. Iam trying to get a better understanding for amps, volts, oems, DC, AC,lead acid batt.,nikad, buses, etc. Any suggestions are greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

The title is "Aircraft Electrical Systems" by E.H.J. Pallett it is the 3rd edition and can be ordered through Amazon.com I got mine in 98 and it was a great way to learn from the basics to reading electrical diagrams and working through them. Enjoy the read.

I'd also recommend reading articles on "www.howstuffworks.com" regarding electricity. Also, pick up some high school and college physics textbooks, or go to a local library to rent some. I started to read my roomates physics book to learn more about the exact same subject.

Good luck, and never stop learning! :)
