Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering, science, or aviation field.Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial Certificate.Flight Instructor Certificate, SEL or higher.Current second class medical certificate or higher. Qualifications
1.) 3-5 years of instructional experience in aerobatic or tactical military flight operations. 2.) The ability to analyze and explain dynanic flight mechanics in a classroom environment. 3.) Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate the comprehensive, relaxed introduction to Upset Recovery instruction. 4.) 5,000 hours of flight time with 2,500 hours as pilot in command. 5.) 1,000 hours of flight instruction given. Secondary Skills:1.) L-39 Letter of Authorization. 2.) L-39 flight experience, 3.) Teaching or instructional background, 4.) Public speaking experience. 4.) Flight experience in corporate or airline flight operations.
Primary Responsibilities
1.) Deliver academic ground school instruction covering background aerodynamics and flight techniques of the Upset Recovery Training Program, 2.) Act as pilot in command and Instructor Pilot for Upset Recovery flight trainingoperations. 3.) Provide critique and analysis of customer flight training 4.) Assist in the development and advancement of the Upset Training Program curriculum. 5.) Pilots will support additional needs of Eclipse Aviation Flight Operations as available.
