Education
High School diploma and the completion of Air Force or Navy qualification as an aerospace physiology technician or equivalent.

Qualifications
1.) Ten to fifteen years of experience as an instructor providing aviation physiology training to flight crew members on the subjects of physiological effects of altitude, aircraft pressurization and oxygen equipment, night vision, illusory effects, and other aviation physiology. 2.) Ten years experience in hypobaric chamber and/or Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device (ROBD) operations in the delivery of hypoxia training to include screening of trainees, observation, and documentation of training events. 3.) Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. 4.) The ability to assist Upset Recovery Instructors in aircraft orientation procedures, harness and parachute system egress procedures, parachute operations, aircraft boarding and strap in procedures, and rollover training device operation. 5.) The ability to create and manage the academic curriculum of the Emergency Procedures Training aviation physiology instruction program including the associated documentation of training. 6.) Experience in the maintenance of aviation physiology equipment including physiology training devices, parachutes, masks, and helmets.

Secondary Skills:
1.) Experience as an Air Force or Navy Aerospace Physiology Technician is highly desired 2.) An orientation to civilian flight operations in a corporate or scheduled flight operations environment is a plus. 3.) Possesion of a pilot certificate would be helpful.

Primary Responsibilities
1.) Provides instruction in aviation physiology to Eclipse 500 operators regarding the physiological effects of altitude, aircraft pressurization and oxygen equipment, rapid decompression, night vision, illusory effects, and various inflight emergency situations. Instruction is provided through a combination of presentations, discussions, and demonstrations. 2.) Administers tests on the information presented in lectures and training device indoctrination. 3.) Responsible for the operation of Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device (ROBD) equipment in a training role and the associated screening of trainees, and the observation and documentation of student reactions and symptoms of hypoxia 4.) Provides necessary intervention or assistance for students undergoing hypoxia training. 5.) Assists Upset Recovery Training instructors in L-39 aircraft orientation, harness and parachute system egress procedures, parachute operations including landing procedures, aircraft boarding and strap in procedures, and rollover training device operation and safety. 6.) Manages and administers the academic curriculum for the Emergency Procedures Training aviation physiology instruction program 7.) Acts as an equipment technician providing maintenance of aviation physiology devices, masks, helmets, and parachutes in both proper operation and currency.
