Anybody know were I can get the earmold piece for the Telex 5x5 Pro III headset and about how much it's going to cost? Thanks in advance for the info.

I've had earmolds done for different headsets in the past, and you can order them direct from Telex or any other manufacturer,or from various retail sellers like Marv Golden. However, you can get it done quicker and professionally by going to any local hearing store; the same places that sell hearing aids. This is what I've done. They'll custom mold it for you to your ear and have the earpiece back in a week. You can have them done in any color you like, and often in different types of materials. Best of all, you're not having to monkey with it yourself; a professional technician will fit it to your ear for you, and then do anything necessary when it comes in to make it work.

Personally, I've used various ear pieces, and I don't like them much. I don't hear well unless I'm hearing with both ears, and a simple Airman 750 works about as well as anything. If I'm in an airplane that needs a full headset, I've been quite impressed with the lightspeed headsets for their comfort and fuction.
