Some of us here are old enough to remember when Eastern wasn't just another recycled former great airline name to be tossed around in the shallow, murky and stagnant end of the Part 121 Supplemental pond...

Honestly, I wish them the best of luck (hey, a "what if" bunch from Florida stuck it out, survived 9-11 and got bought by SWA so good things can happen!) but I really wish they would be more creative and come up with their own name and let the honored dead rest in peace!
