Eagle-how many jumpseaters?

got denied by the gate agent the other day trying to go from CVG-ORD. she said they have been busted lately for taking more than ONE jumpseater, regardless of empty seats.

I thought all regionals would take as many as they have open seats in the back? she said that their manual as well as the pilots specifies that only ONE may be taken.

is that true?

Multiple jumpseaters are being discussed but our policy is based on AA. We need AA to change theirs before ours will.
