They need some pilots pretty badly I think. Its 421 and C90 flying...140 per day for 421, and 160 for the C90, and they supply housing. I think people get sent to king air school after a couple of months. Bases would be Chinle, Kayenta, and Window Rock.

I hear Chinle and Kayenta have a girl behind every tree, as the saying goes. But then if you have been there, you will know what I mean :)

please tell me those aren't the prices for captains. Actually it has to be because there is no logging time in the right seat of any of those airplanes.

Well I think their schedule is 20 days on per month, with benefits, 12 hour shifts. I do not think it would be too terribly bad if one can handle living in complete BFE, and they supply a place to live. If someone wants to go spend a year in the desert, they can come away with some king air time, and but its not an easy place to live.

Spent 2 years out there, not with Eagle. An awesome area, but......flying medevac you see the worst of humanity, Eagle's pay is way too low, the housing is not for someone with a spouse or family and there are no trees (reference to 414 flyer).

good luck

No, its all single pilot. One thing I noticed about flying air ambulance in the southwest, is that it is mostly single pilot, compared to up north in the dakotas and minnesota where it is usually flown with two pilots.

I worked there for about 6 months. It was 6 months to long! I can conferm the BFE statment. Hearing some of those names did bring back memories though.
