Just a quick question, I know we use to bulk out the space in the crj cargo compartment pretty frequently, is that ever an issue with the bigger E jets?

The extra space is needed for the under-wing-engine ego area. It's a real problem, even after $35 an hour, no cancellation pay and oakleys under the backward epaulette. (Oh wait, that's actually a cool thing.)

I never "bulked out" the cargo space on a crj 700/900 and you won't on an E170/175. You can't compare a E170/175 to a 50 seat rj any more than you can compare a crj 700/900 to a crj 100/200.

Now why is this question a thread (?!) when a google search would easily answer this?!

We very rarely use the rear cargo compartment at all, the front is usually sufficient, even with the bag counts into the seventies.
