Looking for a web site with some Embraer 170-195 systems on it. Just looking at what to get prepared for upcoming interview.

Did a search but could not find anything yet. Or if you just have some general input that would be nice too.

For an interview? Easy there sparky, I wouldn't get all in a hurry to show them how well you can dig a hole. If for some reason they do ask. "Automatically according to system logic" is the only answer you really need.

I am actually just trying to decide if it is an airplane I want to fly. Interview was yesterday and I did not want the info for that. If I get/accept the job training is in Montreal not in ST Louis.

I know there is a lot out there on 737's A320 and CRJ's but just looking for something on this type.

all of the test throughout training are open book anyways...

and yes, you do want to fly this airplane

my how times have changed. You want to know if its a type of airplane you would like to fly. What does it matter?? A rj is an rj. Yes the 170 is probably the best rj out there.

Shouldn't you just be happy with getting the chance to fly a jet for a 121 operator vs. a c310 for some 135 fly-by-night place?

If you really have the experience you say you do, Republic isn't the place to settle down with for the long haul. I would be looking at the majors. of course this is just all my opinion. Leaving Republic was the best thing I could have ever done for my career.

He interviewed with Compass. Sounds like he did OK.

It's a good plane to fly, it's not a good plane to have to sit in for 3 hours.

That seems to be the response I have heard from some that are in the 170. I guess the seats kinda suck up front.

And Yes the interview was with compass.

I am already in an MD-80 not a 310.
What is killing my career is that I left the regionals before I had the PIC time and shortly after I was on the street. Since then it has been a hard uphill climb. Also the heat of Vegas is killing me!

ah yes the 121 pic time. I have ran into a couple of guys that are in your same shoes. That is the most important advice that I can give someone is not to leave the regionals without 1,000 pic 121 turbine.

Skid - best of luck to you as you climb up towards the top.

But, but! "The E170 actually looks like a mainline jet! It's soo cool!"

- said this lady F/O that I know. The real kicker? After knocking on the guys choosing the E145, she then went on to complain how her schedules sucked on the E170, and in that regards, wishes she had E145 schedules but IN the E170.
