Question:

I'm applying to some regionals and have a question as to whether I should include my helicopter ratings (Comm, Inst, CFI)in the resume/cover letter as well. Over 95% of my flying experience is in fixed wing aircraft, but I am curious if some HR person would frown on Helo ratings at first glance or if they would do the "Hey this guy has some innitiative" thing.

Would you guys include it??
Thanks for any input

I would- I would guess that it would show that you can learn a different aspect of flying. I've been told they want to see that you are going to be able to make it through the training, and it seems like showing that you can learn something like heli. would be a definate advantage. I don't see how it could hurt. Anytime you can show that you are teachable is a good thing, right? Good luck

I would since they would see the ratings during the interview process. Omitting them may give the impression you're hiding something besides ratings.

Every rating was time and effort, not to mention money. I'm sure you are proud of your accomplishment, I would definitely include it. slave
