Does anyone know of a decent hotel with an airline discount in the DTW area? Thanks for any info.....

Depends on what kind of hotel you want. If you're looking for cheap, then you can't beat the Days Inn at less than $30 out the door. Personally, I like a nicer hotel, and I used the Four Points for about $50.

Avoid motels in the 8-mile area unless you really like rap music...

Yeah, there's a ton of hotels right in the same spot on Merriman Road just 5 minutes from the airport.
