After reading this article I believe that her sentence is way too easy, but that aside, I have two questions:

WHY was she even allowed to board this flight?
WHY didn't the f/a's limit her to two drinks?

I mean the flight from MSP to Bosie, ID is under 2 hours. If you need to drink alot on such a short flight something is way wrong. We need to limit the number of alcholoic drinks served on our flights to curb this kind of behavior. Something to the effect of how long the flight is, the number of drinks allowed served. Also limit the kinds of drinks served.

For example:

0-30mins flight time = no alocholic beverages served
31mins-1.5hrs flight = 1 alocholic beverage served
1.5hr-3hr flight time = 2 alocholic beverages served**
3hrs flight time and up = 3 alocholic beverages served**

**If person is getting inhebriated, FA's use decertion in serving any more drinks.
