Looking for info on this company. What airplanes they fly, sched, pay, bases, life at the company as a pilot in general? do you have to live in base? are you tied to a pager?

thanks

knew a guy there years ago...at that time it was a falcon 200 and a falcon 900. I would fly charters into their facility.

I think they used the 900 is some type of shuttle operation. They seemed to be big falcon fans, and why not.

Good group of folks from my limited contact with them.

Really, I know Corning Inc. uses the 328's. Didn't know Dow Corning used them also.

My bad I thought we were talking about Corning. I didnt know they were seperate companies. SORRY:(

Dow Corning is based in Midland Michigan, I believe. and they are fans of the Falcon line of corporate jets.

I fly with a guy who used to work for DC, (probably 4-5 years ago). He used to fly the Challenger 601.

Yeah, I believe Corning ditched the Dow division not long after the boob-job scandal! hnmmmmm....silicon.....

Ahhh, the dreaded boob-job scandal :) I do believe Corning was based out of Elimira N.Y. last time I passed through there ('96).

Dow Corning HQ is based in Midland Michigan as the previous poster stated.

Is this the same DOW in Saginaw? I was there a few weeks ago and was very impressed with their operation. Every one of the pilots went out of their way to say hello and ask if there was anything they could do for us. Seemed to be a great group of guys. They operate 2 Falcon 2000's and 2 Citation 7's. There is also a B-1900 in Baton Rouge, LA that does a shuttle to Houston. They contract out some of their shuttle to ADI in a F-70. The winters there have to be harsh, but a good operation nevertheless. Good Luck!
