Last sunday I almost got hit just as my canopy opened, by a Cessna 172 over a drop zone that is very active and depicted on the charts while skydiving. Bet he missed me by 100 feet. You should have seen the look on the dudes face as I waved to him! Anyway...I'm old, soft and malleable...7 inch diameter hail stones aren't.

This hailstone set a record for size and was NOT depicted on any navigational sectional. Read and see for yourself...(you can click on the picture in the article to enlarge)
