I live in RIC currently flying a CRJ.... I always see Dominion with their Gulfstream/Hawker in and out of RIC. Anyone have any information on this operation?

Thanks in advance!

Practically a closed shop as far as hiring goes. They've posted a few positions during the past few years all of which were snapped up by somone with an "in" at the department. I'm told that the department is fairly heavy with "over-50" pilots so retirements are probably what will fuel any additional hiring in the future. I was a Richmonder myself once and even knocked on their door a few times as well as applying to the open positions. The receptionist at the hangar is well trained to stop all wanna-be's at the door and take their resume. Probably the last really good corporate job left in Richmond since Reynolds merged, Phillip Morris shifted their aircraft North, and all the rest either went out of business or scrapped the department.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response....that is about what I figured. What are you doing now if you don't mind me asking? Still around the greater RIC area?
