No more than 2 weeks notice.. and there is a big risk in this industry that you could still be left with neither job at the end of two weeks.. If you are SURE that your boss wont screw you tell him in advance that you are waiting on a class date and will let him know when they give you the call.. I told mine a tentative date a month in advance and gave my notice right at two weeks..
