Talk about lack of work rules!!!!

Have you ever been on an Antonov or an Illushion? They're basically a gehtto apartment with wings and a huge garage. The crews are underpaid, overworked and do live on the plane. I used to kick it with those guys all the time on the ramp when I was flying in Africa. One Illushion 76 crew I met in Congo took the liberty of giving me a tour of their aircraft and admitted the tail number was fake...

I see the Antonov guys in the Middle East all the time, and they operate with a crew of like 9 all the time including LM's, Nav's (yes they still need a seperate nav) and pilots. Some of them operate on like a 30 hour crew day, and like someone else said, they often sleep on the plane. They get lots of cargo work for NATO though, because their prices cannot be beat in the west.
