Does pinnacle have a CA bid out now?

If they have a CA bid out now when does it close. If they don't when do you think the next one will be out? I was just hired, and have the time. I am at eagle right now. I would like to have the award before I give up my 4yrs here.

you know pinnacle lowered thier upgrade mins a couple months ago, right? (ie, it wont be going as junior as it did)

There should be another vacancy coming out next week...On the last vacancy they were not able to fill all the upgrade slots with current fo's...so upgrade time will be very short...they are about to make a change though that all upgrade candidates have at least 100hrs as a fo before upgrading...hope this helps

Too bad they cant just do that as it is against the contract. Once a pilot has the upgrade times which are defined by the contract, they are allowed to place a bid for captain. The company would like to put in that rule and they have talked about, but techinically they cant even lower upgrade mins with out meeting with the association, which the company seems to forget about quite often.

At this time Pinnacle is unable to fill upgrades. The last bid only filled half of what was posted. Even if they required 100 in type at Pinnacle that would be one month on line and back to upgrade. The current time to do that would be 3500 hr.

Is the policy still not to hire anyone that resigned from there.. So many FO's jumped ship last year wonder if they would be interested in CA slots now

What are the off the street capt mins?

Know a guy with 1800 hrs, 1000 of which is 121 SIC, and also 600 SIC tprop. He has ATP written also.
