Would just like to verify for the interview at NJA does the left seat of the sim have an RMI type config for the NDB - or is the card fixed with the NDB needle?

I'm pretty sure there was an RMI. Also check out the ILS 01 to Wilmington,DE. You'll hold at the marker after approaching from the North.

NJA left all the fixed cards in the 152's...

95% of our fleet is all glass. FYI NJA doesn't own any sims:) Now FSI on the other hand LOL

My understanding is that the sim used for interviews is the property of NJA and is used only for interviews.

Baja.

The interview sim is in the CMH FSI building, on the ground level. As to it's ownership, who knows. It's a strange rig, glass one side steam the other. Good luck in your interviews.

Go ahead and compute your holding entries before ever getting into the sim. You know you'll be holding on the loc Rwy 1 at ILG so you can make up a range of headings and what entry you will make. Have those headings handy on the ride. Also, by the time you finish the steep turns and are cleared to the holding fix you're already within 3 minutes so go ahead and slow to holding speed. Use lots of CRM, on my ride over a year ago I never touched the throttles after initially pushing them up for takeoff. Let your partner be your voice-controlled autothrottles.

If you need a copy of the approach go to:
www.airnav.com and look up the airport. Approaches can be downloaded in PDF format.

Good luck,
