Can any Skywest guys let me know if Express Jet has priority over OAL's on a United Express flight?

Thanks

Not sure what Asa/Xjt does, but Skywest has a UAX Jumpseat priority list for EVERY UAX carrier on the last page of every release. Has been useful (sometimes) when there is a question on priority.

Priority on SKW flights (as per a flight release)

1. SkyWest pilots DOH
2. SkW dispatch DOH
3. ASA/XJT pilots Time of Checkin
4. UAX pilots TOC
5. OAL pilots TOC
6. ASA/XJT dispatch TOC

Kind of. XJT is not based on DOH for the jump seat. Reservations and walk ups for those XJT pilots in the same category are first-come, first-serve.

And so does ASA and SkyWest. If you review the UAX priority card you will see that on XJT it is XJT Pilots, then ASA/SKYW TOC, same on SKYW, and same on ASA.

and in lax <AA> side

in LAX it will go

1 AE Pilots
2 AA Pilots
3 Skywest Pilots
4 OAL Pilots

Welcome skywest, suks to be at the bottom

XJT pilots should be ahead of those useless disp, why are they even on there

Probably because the FAA still requires we ride along with you glorified Greyhound drivers for five hours every year.

I believe the L-XJT side has authorization to let a DX'er sit through sim sessions to satisfy the requirement. Sparing the oh so high and mighty DX'er the pain/agony/anguish of subjecting themselves to 5 hours of sharing the space with lowly "glorified greyhound drivers".

So what does that make you, glorified Greyhound driver dispatcher?;)

By the way, why didn't you reply yet to my post to you in the Big Meeting thread dealing with the Atkin family controlling shares?

It just makes me useless, apparently.

And they are the largest individual owners of company stock. My bad. Point is, they still call all the shots. They aren't kowtowing to the BOD. The BOD clearly knows that SkyWest Airlines is to remain a seperate entity and shielded from anything on the ASA/ExpressJet side. The sooner you come to accept this fact, the sooner you can move on and enjoy your job/life.

Enjoy life and my job, thank you very much. JA owns 4.5% and the other Atkin own less than 1%. There are other institutional owners who own just as much and more. Anyway, I don't think that it has as much to do with unions as some make it to be
