Relative to 1500 hours? Yep. BTW, what is your line for experience vs. lots of experience.pilot1704 said:so you think 2000 hours is lots of experience!
They cant bid from one FO position to another per contract. One big difference is at CHQ, there is no incentive for current FOs to bid the 170, "bigger airplane syndrome" aside.

1. FO pay rate the same between E135 and E170.
2. Only proposed 170 domicile IND (possibly SDF too?), but may become IAD and/or ORD once UAX flying gets fired up in earnest.
3. Quite possibly awful lines until multiple airplanes and routes come online.
If somebody has 1500 hrs of C-172 time, they might be in trouble. However, if a pilot can fly a twin PA34 and larger, and understands complex turbine systems and operations, they should have no problem with the 170.
Thats true, but I thought there was a memo put out a couple months ago saying current FOs would be allowed to bid the 170 for a limited period of time. You know, back when Republic was gonna fly the 170s for United starting in July...They cant bid from one FO position to another per contract.
