Just curious if NetJets pilots are allowed through airline security with all those dangerous liquids and if they have can go through security without a boarding pass.

As a 10 year Netjet'er I would say no. I have never been able to get through without a boarding pass. How could you? You flying the RJ today? I normally can only get through with more than 3 and 3 with liquids if I'm in uniform. Maybe other guys know things I don't.....

I guess you are HBA'd out of CMH or HPN then. THE only places they care about or differentiate us(NJA) from other crew members. We DO have an air carrier certificate which says we are REAL crew members

I've gone through airport security several times sans boarding pass - in uniform, mind you. This is particularly useful when the lines at the ticket counter are unusually long (holiday travel periods, etc). In these instances I've gone through security and retrieved my boarding pass at the gate. I haven't yet encountered a problem with this (knock on wood).

Other than the aforementioned airports of CMH and HPN (TSA Nazis!), I haven't had a problem with liquids either.

I have found that being overly polite and respectful with TSA goes A LONG way in getting through security hassle-free.

I went through TSA this morning in CMH and for once didn't have the SSSS on the ticket!!

You should have seen the tsa id checker guys face. He kept looking and looking for it. You could tell he was dissapointed that I would not be getting the "NJA special treatment".

Its like little things take make a day start off well sometimes....
