I don't know the answer to this, so that is why I am asking: Of Skywest/Expressjet/ASA/COMAIR/Pinnacle/Mesaba/Compass/Mesa/Freedom/Republic Holdings, How many of those carriers own/lease their own aircraft, and how many are assigned/sub-leased via DL/NWA and can be reassigned by them? Just a question no bash.

I do know that the 170/175 and 145s are owned or leased by RAH, and there for nontransferable, although that does not mean unreplacable.

DL owns 40 ASA CRJ 50's
Other than that to reduce its visibility on the airframes most of them are owned/leased by the operator.

ASA/Skywest Inc. owns all , with the exception of the ATR's and 40 CRJ200's. Also, the 8 CRJ 700's from Comair, are owned by DAL.

As part of the sale/purchase with Skywest, they asked Delta to hold onto these 40 as a safety net to Skywest Inc., so as to not be holding 100% of the risk.

Mesaba owns a few GPU's, but that is about it.

I think they're all broken!

No, no, no. You just have to make sure they're all plugged into the belly completely and the 28V output contactor switch is turned on.... oh, wait, what the?? They are all broken!
