Anybody know the %?

It's due to AIDS (Aviation Induced Divorce Syndrome). Major symptom: an expectation of earning income from your spouse coupled with the complaint that "you're never home when it counts, and I'm getting sick and tired of it!".

I recovered from it the first time around; doing just fine the second!

Best preventive medecine: chose your spouse carefully.

Percentage, hmmmmmmmm.........100% for me! And not regreting it!

Make no mistake about it, unless you're a bible-thumper or you're too much of a wimp, you will get divorced. And after you do, you're life will be much, much, much better. (And don't let her talk you into marriage counseling to try to save the marriage, either. Unless you want to spend hours listening to her cry)

Back in the mid-80's when I was at one of the majors they told us that their average pilot had been married 2.6 times.

Unfortunately in some states you have to goto court ordered counseling.. ah well... I am much happier with that divorce decree in hand... 1 year and 3 months later :)

The problem today is people get married way to early, and have no respect for the sanctimony of marriage.

"Till Death Do Us Part, or we grow bored with each other, or someone with bigger tatas comes along, or we have our first argument, or we can't agree on whose parents to spend Christmas with, or one of us wins the lottery, or you get a beer belly and stop bathing, or .....

Just get the first divorce out of the way before you get the final job with the pension and big bucks. It really worked well for me and really take your time on the second wife for the same reason. That pension works out a lot better when you don't have to split it down the middle. Took 20 years looking for wife 2 now getting ready to celebrate our 16 year anniversary.
